This is a Normally or Simply closed Half Wave Circuit Diagram. A normally closed contact schema that provides zero-voltage switching is designed around the 4N39 SCR opto coupler. The schema illustrates the method of modifying the normally open contact schema by using the photo SCR to hold off the trigger SCR.
